Paul Fish brings over 15 years of senior financial leadership with fast growth media companies on both sides of the Atlantic. His experience encompasses finance and operations in small to middle market media and technology startups with multiple revenue streams.
A UK native and certified accountant, Fish began his career at the BBC working in television, radio and the BBC’s commercial arm, BBC Enterprises Ltd. He next joined Dennis Publishing UK, and was soon promoted to the position of Associate Finance Director. Fish was then transferred to New York and appointed CFO and Director of Dennis Publishing, Inc., (publisher of publish Maxim, Stuff, Blender, and The Week), where he spent the following five years expanding the tiny start-up into a multi-media powerhouse with 220 employees and revenues approaching $250 million.
Subsequently, Fish partnered with Maer Roshan to co-found and launch Radar Magazine, where he developed and managed the business operations and finances of the company, including capital investment and communications with outside shareholders. From there he joined Dazed and Confused UK and led their overseas expansion and licensing of their brands to American and Asian markets. After a term as CFO with Doubledown Media, he served as CFO of the Louise Blouin Media group, the world’s leading art media company; and also as CFO of the LTB Foundation a UK and US based charitable arts foundation. Most recently Fish was the CFO at Cinchcast a growing cloud-based conferencing and webcast solutions technology company.
At Waywire Fish oversees finance, legal and administrative operations for Waywire Networks. He is responsible for all statutory and financial reporting, tax and legal compliance for the company.
